What’s in Your Water?

We drink it every day, we make our children drink it every day, but do you know what’s in your tap water? The two main additives found in Australian tap water are Chlorine and Fluoride. We all know (or believe) fluoride is a cavity fighter, but did you know that too much fluoride is actually worse for your teeth than none at all? Did you know that before it was deemed a ‘cavity fighter’ fluoride was used as an insecticide and rat poison?

Laboratory tests have shown that fluoride enhances the brains absorption of aluminium – the substance found in brains of most Alzheimer’s patients! Fluoride is an acute toxin with a slightly higher rating than lead. We don’t use lead paint anymore, yet we pump our water supply with fluoride.
